How Akin makes money

Current model

Akin is discovery-only and currently makes no money. It helps Australian home specialty brewers find coffees in a similar taste zone, then links out to the roaster's own site.

What Akin will not do

• Akin will never sell coffee, hold inventory, or ship orders.
• Akin will never take a cut of the match ranking.
• User taste data is never sold.

Affiliate links or sponsorship

If affiliate links or clearly labelled sponsorship are introduced later, they will be disclosed on the relevant surface. They will never change the match order.

Roaster corrections and removal

Roaster correction and removal requests are always free. A roaster can email hello@akin.coffee to ask for details to be corrected or to exit the index entirely.
